I just wanted to share some good news with you. I have had my 'September is the Cruellest Month' series published in Ag Magazine. I cannot express deeply enough how honoured and flattered I am to have my work in such a beautiful and inspirational magazine. It is a magazine that I have subscribed to for a while and never imagined I would be in it, let alone on the front cover. I would like to thank the editor Chris Dickie for this wonderful opportunity. If you get a chance to get hold of a copy either in the shops or through online subscription I am sure you won't be disappointed .. there are lots of wonderful articles in it. :)

ReplyDeleteFor me, 'congratulations' on it's own dosen't quite seem enough. I could only begin to imagine how you must be feeling at the moment- you must be absolutely floating above the ground and feeling very proud of your work; the fact that your children are such a large part of what you have achieved, for me, just ties everything in perfectly. It brings together all aspects of the most important things to you Deb- your love for your family, your art and your vision. It must be wonderful to have this 'wholeness of self' recognized by the publishers of this magazine. I am going to seek out this issue and have great pleasure in looking at your images of 'September is the Crulest Month' in print- enjoyimg it and sharing it with my family.

You are absolutely right about it being important because it is my family .. I can look at them for hours just for that reason .. I don't think I would if it wasn't them :) It is their work as much, if not more so than mine .. they actually say 'our pictures' .. I am merely the camera operator at times lol!! Thank you again x
